Today's consumers are bombarded with so many advertising messages that they no longer have the impact they did two decades ago. However, consumer public relations uses such a wide variety of media – such as the news pages of newspapers, radio talk shows, in-store demonstrations, information leaflets, events, sponsorship, street promotions and the internet – that it is possible to communicate with even the most disparate consumer groups.
Although consumer public relations is still in its infancy in Iceland, KOM is one of the pioneers in this area of public relations, working with clients to deliver an appropriate, timely and memorable message to their target audience.
